Friday, September 26, 2008Home Away From HomeI grew up looking forward to our yearly family vacaction to the Black Hills. I never once regretted that we went to the same place each year. I loved it! I always felt like I was going home on the way to the Hills. Thursday, September 25, 2008Mount Rushmore 2007My husband, Howard and I took a road trip during the fall of 2007 and we included South Dakota. Neither one of us had ever seen Mount Rushmore up close and personal and we were both excited, especially Howard. The day was bright and the sky was a clear blue and I got some terrific shots of the sculptures. Thursday, September 25, 2008Bus ToursBest way to travel through the Black Hills is to take a bus tour. We had a great driver and he showed us the things we really wanted to see.
